Because this group is broad, recent reviews and photos are a better guide than the category alone. Most kitchens in Denton will adjust a dish for common dietary needs such as vegetarian or gluten-free if you ask when ordering. Hours vary widely: bars open late and cafes close early. Happy-hour pizza deals are common at bars across Texas on weekday afternoons, and many casual restaurants take reservations online through third-party platforms while fast-food spots are walk-in only.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10 amβ2:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (940) 369-8415. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, dining.unt.edu.
Its Google rating is 4.2 out of 5 from 233 reviews, a solid but mixed picture; reading the most recent reviews will tell you what to expect.
Denton is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Traffic in Denton peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

The food has about a 50/50 chance of either blessing your mouth or making you want to throw up. Majority of the time the food has been sitting for a long time sometimes hours because i was given some of the mac and cheese and it was dry and completely cold. And the one thing you will notice is the amount of attitude some of the workers give. No βhiβ or βhelloβ they just stare at you like youβre inconveniencing them, then will roll their eyes when you ask for more of something. The place is beyond dirty, obviously not expecting fine dining but also not expecting to be sitting at a table covered in crumbs and drops of sauce in a chair full of crumbs with a fully unbitten pizza slice either, ended up having to clean my table and chair myself. I would go for the food IF itβs fresh, and just beware of the some of the rude staff members and dirty areas.

We stopped here for lunch in between two campus tours today. Seven different cafeterias in one convenient location. The food and variety were both good. I asked a few students while I was waiting in line if they came to this particular location because it was convenient when they were in between classes or because it had the best food. They said it was definitely the most convenient when in class but it may be the second best cafeteria to Champs.

The food is relatively unchanging over time, but is reliably good. Some days are better than others, but the wide selection is great. They are a bit lacking on the pasta front. But they serve many dishes that are just hard to miss with. Good ice cream too. You can't being outside containers or get anything to go (besides deserts). Sometimes their dishwashers break and they use disposable cups plates etc. and you can bring a disposable cup out if you want a coffee to go or something. If you have the dining pass with unlimited swipes and weekends, this amounts to about $500/mth for food. Which is a good deal given the overall quality and consistent availability of food.

Pretty good. Lots of selection. The food selection does not rotate so I get tired of it after a while but itβs a good place to get comfort food β for me thatβs pho and pasta salad. Itβs hard to find places to sit during peak hours but going right when they open is your safest bet. Only place to get a grilled chicken cutlet on campus, so that makes up for the lack of rotation.

Several pieces of hair was in food, when I showed the worker, he asked me did I want another pieceβ¦ examine your food before eating it. I notice the worker donβt wear hair nets but only hats, that might be the issue.
